to the Jane Grigson Trust web site. The educational charity founded in memory of
Jane Grigson was set up on 3rd April 1991.

The Deed of Trust states that the Objects of the Charity are:

To advance the education of the public, and in particular, to maintain,
improve and advance the education in and understanding of food, its
cultural and nutritional aspects, and the art of its preparation, and to
provide a natural forum for the discussion, dissemination and exchange of
ideas and information on the subject of food.

To advance the education of the public in the development and benefit of
culinary expertise.

To maintain a library on the subject of food which shall be open to the
public and to undertake and encourage research into the subject provided
that the useful results of any such research undertaken under the foregoing
objects shall be published.
